Yoga sessions and workshops

Accessible, mindful yoga for groups,
teams, and individuals

Yoga workshops

My signature offering: a chance for your group to step away from the noise of daily life and reconnect. These workshops weave together mindful movement, meditation, and meaningful connection. They’re perfect for businesses who want a team-building experience, salons or community groups looking to recharge together, or even special gatherings like birthdays and hen dos where you’d like something more grounding and memorable.

Small group sessions

A welcoming way to practice with others in a relaxed and supportive setting. These sessions focus purely on moving, breathing, and finding calm — without extras like circles or gift bags. They’re a great option if you have a small team, a friendship group, or even a sports club that wants to balance out training with mindful movement and recovery. Shorter than my workshops but more structured than a 1:1, they offer a steady rhythm of practice that’s easy to fit into your week.

Private 1:1 or 1:2 sessions

For something more personal, I offer private yoga sessions — just you, or you plus one other person. These sessions are ideal if you’d like more focused guidance, want to build confidence before joining group classes, or simply prefer a quieter, more tailored practice. Every class is designed around your needs, whether that’s gentle movement to ease stress, postures to support strength and mobility, or practices that help you feel grounded and calm. This is your time to slow down, ask questions, and receive guidance that’s just for you.

  • I’ve been going to Tan’s yoga classes at 1GYM for about 3 years. From the start of attending Tan has always made me feel welcome and included especially at the start when I was less confident with yoga and attending classes. From the start of every class you can see Tan has thought about the class and cares about making everyone welcome, it’s not rushed, everything is ready and thought through. Throughout each practise Tan makes sure everyone is included showing different variations and also coming to show and adjust people. I always feel like I can ask any question and can check something at the end of the class. Tan's classes have an amazing energy and community feel that is welcome to all, I cannot recommend them enough.

  • I definitely recommend connecting with Tanya and attending her classes. Her voice, way of guiding, reassurance, and availability for advice will make you feel welcome and confident. She did something magical for me-became consistent and focused on my body. I am more aware and patient with myself. I will forever be thankful to Tanya for that.

  • The perfect end to a busy week. Tanya creates such a calm, welcoming space where, even in a full class, you still feel that level of personal attention and care. Her attention to detail and ability to tune into each individual really sets her apart. She never pushes you beyond your limits, instead encouraging you to work with your own strengths and abilities, which makes every session feel both safe and empowering. After some time away due to work and life commitments, coming back to her classes has been a reminder of just how important this time is for my mental health and wellbeing. It's now something I actively prioritise in my week. Genuinely the best part of my week.

  • Yesterday's practice was amazing an that relaxation at the end was just what I needed. The affirmation made me really emotional – it was exactly what I needed to hear this week. I am so glad I came.

  • I found Tanya's classes 9 months ago and haven't looked back! I've dabbled in some Yoga classes over the years but never tried Hot Yoga before, so I nervously reached out to Tanya before my first class and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Tanya's inclusive and encouraging teaching style put me at ease and really allowed me to focus on and enjoy my own practice and growth. I now attend Tanya's Hot & Hatha Flow classes every week as well as her workshops and events. Can't keep me away! Tanya's continued support and enthusiasm have helped me find my love for Yoga. I am very grateful for wonderful Tanya and the impact her kind, patient, fun teaching has had on my life!

  • I started doing Tanya’s classes in January 2026. Tanya’s classes have helped me so much with the way my body feels as I was needed to do more stretching. I absolutely love Tanya’s Hatha flow on a Friday evening it ends my week on the perfect note making me feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the weekend after working all week 🥰Tanya is the loveliest person she always has time to chat about anything that is bothering me with my injuries and she always makes time to thank everybody who attends her classes. As a teacher she takes her time to explain and show everybody the positions to get into and alternatives if unable to get into a certain position. Tanya is always smiling and she is such a warm person who made me feel so welcomed at her classes and is always so grateful, her positivity shines through her and is contagious. Thank you so, so much for just being you and being the best yoga teacher there is 🥰xx

  • Tanya is a wonderful yoga teacher who brings genuine warmth and kindness to every class. She has a natural ability to make each person feel seen and supported. Her sessions create a calm, welcoming atmosphere, where you can move your body while also finding space to relax and quiet your mind.

My journey

It has always been my dream to turn what I love into a living. First, to offer an unmatchable, personal hair salon experience to my clients, and second — to share the joy of yoga with others, and make it a pratice for everyone.

I began my yoga journey in 2016, a practice I didn’t realise I needed at what was a vulnerable and difficult time in my life. Since then, I’ve grown so much physically, mentally, and mindfully. I’ve been both the student and teacher of various yoga retreats, workshops, and classes, and I’m so grateful to now have the confidence and accredited skill to lead people through a practice.

I received my Hatha yoga diploma in 2022 with High Merit, and have since taught over 300 hours of yoga to my students. I currently teach yoga twice a week at 1GYM in Newport, leading a hot yoga class and hatha flow class, and I took the next step in 2024 to open up my workshop offer.

I’ve always dreamt of bringing an incredible yoga experience to as many people as possible — and it brings me so much joy to build a community that honours kindness, intention, and celebrates progress over perfection.

True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived.
Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming.
